At a glance
What this service does for you
What it does
Sends single messages, bulk messages and login codes to mobile numbers in countries around the world, and reports the status of each one.
What it solves
An SMS reaches a phone without internet access or an installed app: right for messages that must not depend on either, such as a login code or an appointment reminder.
An example
An online shop that sends discount codes to its loyal customers, and sends its website's login codes through the API from the same account.
Uses
Three things SMS does for your organisation
Promotions and campaigns
Send offers, discounts and news to groups of contacts from your phone book, and schedule when they go out.
Notifications
Send order updates and reminders for appointments, classes or payments on time to each contact: by hand from the panel, or automatically from your own software.
Login and verification codes
Send one-time codes for sign-in and verification through the API, with ready templates.
Worldwide
SMS to numbers all over the world
DiceX sends SMS to mobile numbers in countries around the world. The sender is set by a sender ID; which sender types are allowed, whether they must be registered, and the price all depend on the destination country and operator.
A sender ID in your brand's name
Where a country allows it, your message arrives with your brand's name as the sender; elsewhere, with the sender type that country accepts. Some countries require the sender to be registered first.
Prices by destination
The price of each message depends on the destination country and operator, so there is no single price list; you see the cost of every send before you send it.
A status for every message
Worldwide coverage means we can send to every country; whether each message arrives also depends on the destination operator's rules and the recipient's phone, and the status report shows what happened to each one.
Panel or API
Send from wherever you work
The SMS panel
Pick contacts from your phone book or enter numbers, write the text, choose when to send, and see the number of recipients, message parts and the total cost before you send.
The SMS API
Send single, bulk and per-recipient messages from your own software, check the status of each message and read incoming ones, with one API key in the request header.
Character and part counter
As you type, you see the number of characters and message parts; whether the text uses Latin letters or another script is counted too.
Cost
See the cost before you send
SMS is paid from your DiceX wallet. The price depends on the destination country and operator, the number of message parts and your account's rates, so the panel works out the cost of each send before it goes out.
Send preview
The number of recipients and parts, the cost per part, the total cost and your balance are shown before you confirm the send.
Your balance before you send
If your balance is not enough for a send, you see it before sending and can top up your account.
One wallet
The same credit pays for messaging apps, voice calls and other DiceX services.

Questions and answers
Frequently asked questions
- Which countries can I send to?
- DiceX sends SMS to mobile numbers in countries around the world; the sender type and the price depend on the destination country and operator.
- Why is there no fixed price list?
- Because the price of each message depends on the destination country and operator, the length of the message and your account's rates. Before every send, the panel shows the exact cost of that send.
- What is a sender ID?
- The name a recipient sees as the sender instead of a number, such as your brand's name. Not every country accepts one, and some require it to be registered first.
- How many characters fit in one SMS?
- A long message is split into parts, and each part is charged separately. Text in Arabic or other non-Latin scripts fits fewer characters per part than Latin text, and the panel shows the number of parts as you type.
- Can I use only the API?
- Yes. Every send can be made through the API; you need the panel only to manage your account and API keys and to top up.
